Urgent de-escalation needed near Gaza border, Save the Children warns

Over the past couple of days, we have seen a severe and deeply dangerous escalation on the Gaza-Israel border, with reports of dozens of casualties on both sides.
 
More than 180 rockets and mortar shells from Gaza have hit Israel, with 11 reported injuries including one woman with serious injuries. Gaza was hit more than 200 times throughout Wednesday night and into Thursday.

STATEMENT: GAZA FUEL SUPPLIES CUT FOR SECOND TIME

On Thursday, all fuel shipments from Kerem Shalom, the main Israeli cargo crossing into Gaza, were stopped for the second time in less than a month, prompting fears that hospitals, homes and water treatment facilities will be hard hit.

التعليم في خطر بعد قرار هدم مدرسة الخان الأحمر في الضفة الغربية

 

4.07.2018 -  يوشك أن يشهد أكثر من 170 طفلاً في حي الخان الأحمر بالضفة الغربية مشاهدة مدرستهم تهدم بعد أن بدأت الجرافات بالتوافد إلى القرية اليوم، حيث أدى ذلك إلى اندلاع العديد من الاحتجاجات التي أسفرت عن إصابة أكثر من 30 شخصًا.

Education under threat as Al Khan Al Ahmar School set to be destroyed in the West Bank

July 4 – More than 170 children in the Khan Al Ahmar community in the West Bank are expecting to see their school demolished imminently after bulldozers moved into the village today, sparking protests in which more than 30 people were reportedly injured.
