إعادة تأهيل ودمج الأطفال الفلسطينيين المعتقلين سابقاً في الضفة الغربية والقدس الشرقية

 

 

 

عقدت كل من الوكالة الايطالية للتنمية والتعاون ومؤسسة انقاذ الطفل في الأرض المحتلة الفلسطينية الورشة الختامية لبرنامج "إعادة تأهيل ودمج الأطفال الفلسطينيين المحررين داخل أسرهم والمجتمع في الضفة الغربية والقدس الشرقية"، في الثاني عشر من كانون الأول، لمناقشة الدروس المستفادة وما يتطلب القيام به في المستقبل.

Rehabilitation and reintegration of Palestinian child ex-detainees in the West Bank and East Jerusalem

December 12, 2018: The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and Save the Children (SC) in the occupied Palestinian territory held the closing workshop for their project: “Rehabilitation and Reintegration within their families and communities of the Palestinian child ex-detainees in the West Bank including East Jerusalem” to discuss lessons learned and what more needs to be done for future responses for children ex-detainees.

Save the Children urge for an end to violence at border which has seen 948 [1] children hit by live ammunition and for support for those who have been wounded.

While early signs are that an agreement could bring relative calm to Gaza, months of violence leave behind almost 1,000 Palestinian children shot and maimed by live ammunition. As they struggle in a crippled health system, it is vital to support these children in recovering from their physical and mental wounds and ensure no further children are injured, Save the Children warns

Urgent de-escalation needed near Gaza border, Save the Children warns

Over the past couple of days, we have seen a severe and deeply dangerous escalation on the Gaza-Israel border, with reports of dozens of casualties on both sides.
 
More than 180 rockets and mortar shells from Gaza have hit Israel, with 11 reported injuries including one woman with serious injuries. Gaza was hit more than 200 times throughout Wednesday night and into Thursday.

STATEMENT: GAZA FUEL SUPPLIES CUT FOR SECOND TIME

On Thursday, all fuel shipments from Kerem Shalom, the main Israeli cargo crossing into Gaza, were stopped for the second time in less than a month, prompting fears that hospitals, homes and water treatment facilities will be hard hit.
